We recommend staying for 2 nights: that way, you’ll have time to enjoy the garden, relax, take a trip around the area, and perhaps try the table d’hôtes. You can find more inspiration under “Surroundings” and “Packages.”

Yes, all guest rooms have their own entrance through the garden. View the rooms on Rooms & Rates.
Yes, every room has its own bathroom with a toilet, sink, and shower.
Three rooms have a double bed measuring 160 x 210 cm. The Almond Blossom Room has two twin beds measuring 90 x 210 cm. The Stars Room can accommodate 2 to 4 people.
Yes, children are welcome. The "De Sterren" Room is the best choice for families. We do appreciate a quiet atmosphere and ask that you respect the peace and quiet of our other guests.
Table d'hôtes
Table d’hôtes is dining with us at the table in the evening: a home-style three-course meal featuring fine French ingredients and herbs from our own garden. Read more at Table d’hôtes.
Yes, please make your reservation at least 2 days in advance. If you have any allergies, vegetarian preferences, or other dietary requirements, please let us know at least 3 days in advance.
The 3-course menu costs €24 per person, not including drinks.
Generally speaking, guests can join us for a meal by making a reservation. Since we prepare everything fresh, we'd appreciate it if you could let us know in advance.
Surroundings & Slow Stay
A l’Epoque is located in Bouges-le-Château, in the Indre department of the Centre-Val de Loire region. It’s a peaceful, rural setting where you can slow down and explore the area. Learn more under “Surroundings.”
Valençay, the Brenne nature region, local markets, and hiking or biking trails are popular day trips. We’d be happy to provide personalized recommendations.

Yes, dogs and cats are welcome upon request. Please let us know when you make your reservation so we can check if it’s suitable for the room and the other guests. We charge €7.50 per stay for a pet.
