We are Christine (1972) and Max (1971), and since October 2024, we have been the proud owners of the chambres et table d’hôtes A l’Epoque. After spending our working lives in the Netherlands, our big dream has come true: to create a place in France where guests can truly unwind.
For us, A l’Epoque is a place where you can slow down. We love simplicity combined with quality: a warm welcome, a quiet room, a comfortable bed, and a delicious breakfast in the morning. During the day, you can explore the region at your own pace, and in the evening, if you’d like, you’re welcome to join us for a cozy meal.

About our house
Our bed and breakfast is located in a charming 18th-century farmhouse that once housed a goat barn, and has been in operation since 1998 under various owners. The house sits on a spacious property of more than 2,500 m² and exudes tranquility, space, and history.

Our service in the chambres d'hôtes
Breakfast
Breakfast is served between 8:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Upon request, it is possible to have breakfast earlier or later.
Dinner (table d’hôtes)
The 3-course dinner begins around 7:00 p.m. and is preceded by an aperitif. Read more about our table d’hôtes if you’d like to know what the evening entails.
Arrival and departure
The room is available starting at 4:00 p.m. If you plan to arrive after 7:00 p.m., please contact us in advance regarding the table d’hôtes. On the day of departure, you may use the room until 10:30 a.m. You can also find answers to practical questions on our FAQ page.
Payment
Room reservations can be made through our website. Please view our rooms and rates. Payment can be made in advance via bank transfer, or at checkout by debit card, cash, or French check.
